Temple activist headquarters praised Minister Gilad Erdan and the Jerusalem Police for opening the Temple Mount to Jews despite Muslim riots there.
"We're standing firm in the face of Muslim rioters seeking to detach the People of Israel from our holy place, and precisely on such a significant day.
"This day the Nation of Israel marks a huge breakthrough in the renewed connection to the Temple Mount. Tears of joy flowed from the eyes of Mount-lovers, and ikdash Yeshiva head Rabbi Yisrael Ariel also recited the Tov uMetiv blessing, others said Hallel at the site, and mentioned the prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes, that these days would turn into happiness and rejoicing."
