Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan responded to criticism leveled at him during the Temple Mount tensions.
"I propose to all members of the political system to try to internalize, at least today, the important message of the Tisha bAv fast and to do more soul-searching and unity in our nation. I salutes the Jerusalem District police for its professional and determined activity in keeping the sensitive and necessary balance on the Temple Mount."
