Police began a large-scale enforcement operation on Southern Roads, with emphasis on Highway 40.
So far, 49 drivers have been caught speeding. Six traffic reports were recorded for seat belt failure, two drivers were caught talking on their cellphone while driving and 10 reports were recorded for bus drivers and trucks committing traffic offenses.
