The Ministry of Health reported that a positive test result was obtained for a rabid dog in Kfar Yuval, in the Upper Galilee.
The dog was a medium mixed breed after delivering a litter, short white fur with brown around the head and pelvis. It is unknown at this time about humans exposed to it. The ministry is asking anyone who may have been in contact or whose animals may have come into contact with the affected animal or other stray animal in the area between July 23rd and August 6th to urgently contact the nearest health bureau regarding the need for preventative care.
