Rabbi Rafi Peretz, in an urgent letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, wrote "appeal today to the US government to release Pollard as soon as possible and allow him to immigrate to Israel."
He also noted that "Pollard paid a high price for his desire to help the State of Israel. Mutual responsibility is a leading value in Judaism and therefore we must enlist to help."
