Successful launch of Amos 17 satellite

The launch took place at 2:23 am Israel time from the Florida launch site.

The launch process was carried out normally and the satellite separated from the second phase of the launcher about 33 minutes after launch. According to the plan, the satellite maintains continuous contact with the ground station, making its way on its own to the designated track point.

At the end of the testing period, which is expected to take about three months, the satellite will be transferred to orbit coordinate 17 E towards commencement of its commercial operations.
