Zehava Shaul, the mother of soldier Oron Shaul, who was kidnapped by Hamas in the Protective Edge counterterror campaign, has criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's conduct regarding the return of her son and other Israelis held by Hamas.
Interviewed by Israeli public radio on the fifth anniversary of the incident, she said, "If the prime minister wanted to bring him back, he would have been here a long time ago. It can't be that years pass and nothing happens. My son was kidnapped alive. What happened to him during those five years, nobody knows. Only a deal will bring him back."
