Prime Minister and Likud Party Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu sharply attacked Knesset members Yair Lapid and Avigdor Liberman on Sunday during a meeting with Likud members in Eilat, saying they talk democracy but their party election policy belies those claims.

Netanyahu added, "But in addition to hypocrisy, they really want to destroy democracy, because they have a combination deal. What is the deal? Lapid, Lieberman, a few others, they have a combination deal. I wouldn't be surprised that this is some of the right side in us as well. What's the plan? They want to realize their ambition to be prime ministers," but, he said, Likud voters won't let them.
