Palestinian Authority Cabinet Leader Mohammad Shtayyeh met on Sunday with residents in the Wadi Hummus neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem, where several homes were recently demolished by Israel, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
He told them "The Authority will begin treating the entire West Bank as Area A [under PA control -ed.]," explaining that Israel does not respect the agreements with the Authority, and refers to the whole area as Area C, under Israeli control.
