President Reuven Rivlin spoke to Ambassador to Panama Reda Mansour on Sunday, after reading what Mansour wrote on Facebook about being inspected at Ben Gurion Airport after a security scanner found out he was from the predominantly-Druze village of Ussifiya.
Writing on Twitter, Rivlin said, "Without going into the details of the investigation, I emphasized that what is important is what Rada feels, and if he is hurt we must give it some thought. The alliance between us and the Druze community is a life alliance. We have to make sure we always deserve it and not just in times of crisis and fighting."
