US may place intermediate-range missile in Asia

US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper on Saturday said he plans to deploy a medium-range missile in the Pacific region.

The plans follow the Friday expiry of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty agreed on towards the end of the Cold War.
