Professor Simcha Goldin, the father of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin, whose body is being held by Hamas in Gaza, spoke this morning with prisoners and missing-in-action coordinator Yaron Blum, and with the military secretary of the prime minister, Brigadier General Avi Blut, and demanded that Israel not return the body of a Hamas terrorist who was eliminated Wednesday evening after he infiltrated Israel and wounded three Israel Defense Forces soldiers.
Goldin said, "We made contact this morning to ensure that the Israeli government does not repeat past mistakes and release the body of a Hamas terrorist while IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians continue to be held in Gaza. The Israeli government led by Netanyahu has already rreturned Hamas-affiliated terrorist bodies in the past five years despite cabinet decisions on this matter and the High Court decisions that it must follow."
