Former defense minister Avigdor Liberman has responded to Wednesday evening's incident on the Gaza border by saying "There is ongoing erosion in Israeli deterrence. "The prime minister is conducting policy of surrender to terrorism.
Interviewed by Israeli public radio, Liberman noted: "Next week, the Israeli government will deliver another $30 million to Hamas. The conclusion is that the Palestinians, including those in Judea and Samaria, know that it is worthwhile to launch violence against Israel."
