Haaretz reporter Jacki Khoury sparked a stir on the internet after sharing a false propaganda video circulating Arab media about a five-year-old Arab boy allegedly summoned for a police investigation for stone-throwing. Khoury tweeted with the video, "The four-year-old boy Muhammad Alian from Al-Isawiya is on his way to interrogation this morning after receiving a summons from the Jerusalem police on suspicion of throwing a stone"
Yediot Ahronot's Elior Levy remarked "1. a 5-and-a-half-year-old. 2. The J[erusale]m Police say that the father was summoned and not the son, but the father decided to take the son with him and bring him (so that they will document what you are now uploading and say that the son was summoned). 3. Even if it diminishes the juiciness of the story, you might want to check the details (the age of the child) and bring the other side's version as well." In a later tweet, Khoury said the father was summoned because of the son's rock throwing.
