The Jerusalem municipality is preparing a plan that includes more than 2,000 new housing units in the northeastern part of the Ramot neighborhood.

The plan includes a road network that will allow further entry into the neighborhood from the east, as well as a significant addition of areas for public needs. A municipality statement said "The plan will allow for faster development of the area for families waiting for additional housing units in the city, all in an orderly and comprehensive manner, while providing public needs and infrastructure in the neighborhood."
