The Otzma Yehudit and Likud Parties have distanced themselves from part of the agreement between the Jewish Home, New Right and National Union Parties which calls for a guaranteed place for Otzma Yehudit on the Likud list of candidates for the 22nd Knesset.
The Likud said, "The Likud has already exhausted its unification quota by joining [Finance Minister Moshe] Kahlon['s Kulanu Party], and there will be no more Likud guaranteed spots." Otzma Yehudit said, "Otzma Yehudit is not in any way related to these agreements, and there is no agreement between the party representatives with the Likud or the United Jewish House." Noting its vote tonight on a run with the No'am Party, Otzma Yehudit concluded, "and we propose to those who want a guaranteed spot in the Likud to join the Likud: The time has come to stop trying to get guaranteed spots at our expense."
