The Meretz conference approved, Sunday evening, the agreement for a joint run in the Democratic Unionin the upcoming elections.
Former Meretz chairwoman Tamar Zandberg said at the conference: "For too many years, they have battered the left. Today the left is a source of pride. They are joining it. They are not afraid of it. Today, more partners are joining us on the basis of our ability to create a broad, proud and courageous left front, and this alone, before all, is worth the move we are making here today."
