In the framework of a social survey conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics, 27 percent of the population (about one and a half million people) aged 20 and over in Israel said they have felt discrimination in te past 12 months on the basis of age, nationality, ethnic origin, color, religion or belief.
The feeling of discrimination stands out in the majority of the Ethiopian population (53 percent), the haredi-religious (40 percent), Arabs (37%), people with low household income (36 percent) and singles (34 percent).
