Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan has told Galei Tzahal radio he is confident that there will be a right-wing union in the end, and that the main question at the moment is who will form the list and not who will lead it.
Rabbi Ben Dahan also minimized Sunday morning's postponement of the meeting between the Jewish Home and the New Right. He explained, "The real problem is how the seats will be divided between the three lists [New Right, Jewish Home and National Union -ed.] and the four lists [adding Otzma Yehudit], and we are currently talking about four lists that may be connected, and maybe even the fifth party - the Zehut Party, And if a solution is found in which each party feels that it has the fair and correct expression in the unified list, I assume that the first or second place will be solved in a simpler way."
