Senior member Itamar Ben-Gvir of the Otzma Yehudit Party has announced the cancellation of the meeting scheduled for Thursday afternoon with the chairman of the Jewish Home Party, Rabbi Rafi Peretz.
Arutz Sheva has learned that in Ben-Gvir's phone conversation with Rabbi Peretz, Ben-Gvir was furious at the leaking of the meeting to the media. Ben-Gvir said, in a media statement, "I called Rabbi Rafi Peretz a few minutes ago and informed him that I would not make it to the meeting with him today because of the serious leak to the media. I understand that they are trying to turn me into a bargaining chip against Bennett and Shaked, but I make it unequivocally clear: I'm nobody's bargaining chip." He added. "The Jewish House intended to offer me the fourth and eighth places. We reject the proposal. Our demands remain as they are: the third, ninth and twelfth places."
