MK Ofer Kassif (Hadash-Ta'al) wrote to Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and asked for his intervention to release the children of foreign workers currently in the custody of the Population and Immigration Authority:
"Incarceration of children is a terrible crime and represents a form of exceptional violence against innocents. I will ask you to take immediate action to release the children and their mothers until the final legal decision is reached. The key to their cell is in your hands, "he wrote.
