In a post on Twitter, Former head of the Shin Bet and current MK Avi Dichter (Likud) attacked Ehud Barak for his apologizing to MK Issawi Frig for the deaths of some Arab rioters in riots during the 2nd intifada, writing:
"What the hell is in front of Ehud Barak when he apologizes to MK Issawi Frig? As head of the Shin Bet during that bloody intifada, I tell you Ehud Barak and you citizens of Israel: Without the determination and bravery of the fighters, hundreds of Israelis would have been killed on the roads!"
