Chairman Benny Gantz of the Blue and White Party has congratulated Boris Johnson on his being named to lead Britain's Conservative Party and, in effect, become prime minister.
Gantz said, "The UK and Israel share a longstanding tradition of cooperation, common interests, and shared values. The government that I'll lead will strengthen the economic and bilateral relations between our two states and promote the essential fight against BDS and against anti-Semitism."
