A new two-kilometer segement of the Jerusalem bicycle path was dedicated at a ceremony held on Monday.
The special route, running through the Emek Tzurim National Park, brings the path's total length to 43 km. The one-year project was completed after an investment of NIS 4.6 million, financed by the Jerusalem and Heritage Ministry, assisted by the Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. The new route enables the passage between Mount Zion and the King's Valley and from there to Ben-Hinnom Valley and the Railroad Park.
