Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman says the nurses' strike is unnecessary and has announced that the Health Ministry will petition the Labor Court to stop it.
Litzman said, "The nurses do holy work, but the decision to strike is not correct. The negotiations over their salaries and rights should not be done while hurting the patients."
