The Jerusalem District Court ruled last week that the Palestinian Authority was responsible for the abduction, imprisonment and torture of eight collaborators with Israel, in addition to a similar finding for 52 collaborators about 18 months ago.

Attorney Barak Kedem, who represented the eight, told Arutz Sheva, "The previous compensation was set at NIS 14 million, for the time being only for incarceration and deprivation of liberty," adding that "the pain and suffering they suffered and the property stolen from them have yet to be determined." He estimated those damages to reach hundreds of millions of shekels.
