Israel had agreed with Jordan on an outline for resolving the dispute over the Shaar Harachamim (Mercy or Golden Gate) building on the Temple Mount, according to Channel 12 News.

Last February, members of the Muslim Waqf Authority invaded the ancient building, which was closed for many years due to terror-supporting activity, and began work to turn the building into a mosque. Under the outline, the building will be closed for six months, during which the place will be renovated according to the Jordanian's demand. Upon the completion of the renovation, an administrative facility of the Waqf will be established there.
