The Ministry of Energy will donate NIS 8.5 million to local authorities, factories and commercial buildings in southern Israel in order to optimize the use of energy and bring about significant financial savings.
The grants are designed to support energy efficiency projects that save electricity, such as upgrading lighting systems, replacing old central cooling units with new and efficient ones, replacing split air conditioners with new and efficient systems, installing energy management systems, installing ceiling fans, thermo solar systems and heat pumps.
