Shas chairman Deri announced that he would support Netanyahu in the upcoming elections as well.
"The elections are unnecessary, we should have been in the midst of activity after the great achievement we brought. The government did not come into being just because those who committed themselves to supporting Netanyahu decided not to let him form a government."
"We are not zigzagging, not looking for gimmicks or connections, we are stable and have been around for 40 years. It's not for nothing that the journalists say that it's boring by us. We said all along the way that we would support Netanyahu and thus we will continue. Also in these elections we will only recommend Netanyahu to the president."
