Member of Knesset Yair Lapid (Blue and White) continued expressing his opposition, Sunday evening, to extending the term of Israeli ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer, calling him "probably the most damaging ambassador to US-Israel relations ever."
Writing on Twitter, Lapid said, "This is a transitional government and a transitional government does not extend the tenure of an ambassador." He concluded, "I declare that if we win the elections, Ron Dermer will not continue to be Israel's ambassador to the United States."
