A number of rabbis have added their signature to a letter published at the beginning of the week by Rabbi Haim Drukman and Rabbi Dov Lior calling for the dismissal of Rabbi Shmuel Tal and not allowing him to head a yeshiva due to the fact that he had an "invalid relationship" with a married woman, despite a rabbinical-court decision to allow Rabbi Tal to serve as head of Yeshivat Torat Haim.
The additional rabbis are Rabbi Baruch Gigi, Rosh Yeshiva of Har Etzion, Rabbi Yo'ad Aharoni, Rosh Yeshiva of Katif Yeshiva, Yad Binyamin, Rabbi David Stav, Rabbi of Shoham and Rabbi Amichai Gordin, Rabbi of Yeshivat Har Etzion.
