In a post on Twitter, Chairman of the New Right party, Naftali Bennett attacked Blue and White party chairman Benny Gantz, writing:
"disagree with the condescending notion that Gantz expresses: There is no proof of the superiority of retired generals to citizens with common sense. The Yom Kippur War, The First Lebanon, Operation Protective Edge and more -
those in charge are generals, and yet the management is failing. In contrast, there stands, Ben-Gurion (Who brought us independence), Arens, Amir Peretz ( who brought us Iron Dome) - citizens who did better than the generals."
