In a post on Twitter, MK Merav Michaeli blessed MK Amir Peretz on his victory, writing:
"A new and worthy chairman of the Labor Party, congratulations to Amir Peretz, the right man in the right place, and I am honored to call you the chairman of my party. Now let's go and replace this government."
