Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein referred to recent publications according to which talks are taking place regarding cancelling the elections.
"In view of the request of a number of MKs to the Knesset Legal Advisor, the latter has begun legal consultations to formulate a legal opinion on the possibility of revoking the law to dissolve the Knesset.
"In light of the complexity of the matter and its possible implications, the Knesset's undersecretary will emphasize that the issue will take several days," he said.
