A crew of firefighters from the Jerusalem station, who were summoned to extinguish garbage cans that were set on fire by demonstrators in the Shabbat Square area, were attacked on Tuesday evening by haredi demonstrators and blocked in a way that forced the firefighters to stop the fire truck.
The demonstrators damaged the truck, stole life-saving equipment and fled the scene.
Some of the equipment was found shortly after by the Jerusalem police and it was returned to the fire fighters, and some of the equipment has not yet been found.
