Member of Knesset Yair Lapid, a senior member of the Blue and White Party, has welcomed the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party's announcement that it is leaving the United Right.
Writing on Twitter, Lapid said, "If it is true that the Kahanists are splitting up from the United Right, this is good news. This racist and dark group cannot be part of Israeli politics."
