The official value of the shekel declined an average of .715 percent on Monday against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at 3.604 shekels, up .278 from Friday, while the Euro rose .974 percent to 4.1051 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.5923 shekels, up .605 percent. The Norwegian krone, the Swedish krona and the Swiss franc all rose more than a percent.
