Seventy-eight countries from all over the world will come to Israel to compete in the 2019 International Physics Olympics.
The official opening ceremony of the Olympics will be held on July 7 at Tel Aviv University. Education Minister Rabbi Rafi Peretz said that "the State of Israel is making another achievement in the realm of scientific excellence. Hosting the International Physics Olympiad in Israel joins a series of events in which Israel hosts countries from all over the world."
