Minister Zeev Elkin addressed in an interview on Reshet Bet the dissolution of the Knesset and rumors of cooperation between the Likud and the Arab parties, saying: "They received instructions from Abu Mazen to dissolve the Knesset, and besides, they wanted to strengthen the Joint Arab List. All this talk about cooperation seems unbelievable."
Elkin also said there was no basis for reports about the Likud's attempt to cancel the Knesset's dissolution and establish a unity government with Blue and White. "I suggest not to address these futile reports, such a possibility is not legally possible."
