Fearing that additional parts of the pedestrian bridge in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem could collapse after it was hit by a truck, the police have blocked that portion of Sderot Golda Meir in both directions.
The bridge was also blocked for pedestrians. Traffic is being directed at nearby intersections to bypass roads within the neighborhood. It is recommended that all drivers leaving or entering Jerusalem via Givat Ze'ev choose Route 443.
