Communication Minister Ayoub Kara (Likud) announced that he had decided to withdraw his candidacy for the position of Ambassador to Egypt.
"The attacks on me and the slander that I don't deserve and the delay due to political games to hurt me personally have brought an end to this saga," Kara wrote on Twitter.
