Over the weekend, the Civil Administration's supervision unit prevented illegal activity to break through and prepare a road in the contractual "nature reserve" located in Area B.
The road, about five kilometers long, is located in the Area B reserve, an area under the responsibility of the Palestinian Authority, under the Oslo Accords.
However, due to lack of enforcement against illegal activity in the area, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories and the head of the Civil Administration made an exception and approved enforcement activities. This was done to prevent and reduce environmental hazards affecting the entire region.
