The Inter-ministerial Tender Committee, which is part of the Transport and Finance Ministries, announced the winners of tenders for service taxi lines in four clusters, in the south of Israel, in the center, and in the Sharon region.
These are dozens of service taxi lines, half of which are new, which will begin operating within a few months. In each of these lines, dozens of municipal and interurban taxis will be operated, which will double the number of taxis in these areas and serve as a supplementary service for public transportation.
