A senior United States official close to the Trump administration's peace team has told Arutz Sheva that the US will present the economic vision of its peace plan for Israel and the Palestinian Authority in Bahrain next week, despite the absence of official Israeli or PA delegations from the event. The official hinted that the Bahrain conference would help to motivate international initiatives for the Palestinians rather than the peace process or or what President Donald Trump has called the "deal of the century".

When asked about the timing of the publication of the whole deal, the source said, "We have to wait until the establishment of a government in Israel, and that will be about in November. In my estimation it will not happen in 2019. It is very possible that the president will want to present the plan during his election race for a second term in 2020."
