Member of Knesset Meir Cohen (Blue and White) commented, Thursday morning on allegations that senior Blue and White MK Moshe Ya'alon had allegedly said senior party member Yair Lapid was a liability, telling Israel Defense Forces Radio, "Ya'alon says that the things were not said and I believe him."
Cohen also said, "The attempt to dismantle the union [of Yaalon's, Lapid's and Benny Gantz's factions] has become a national sport. There is no reason for Lapid to give up the rotation [of the prime minister's position]." Referring to Lapid's efforts for haredi-religious Jews to shoulder more of the military and societal burden, Cohen also said, "When we reach the coalition negotiating table, we will invite the haredim with respect."
