Attorney General Avihai Mandelblit spoke a short time ago with the newly elected head of the Bar Association, Avi Himi, and congratulated him on his election to the position.
In the conversation, the attorney general emphasized the importance of the Israel Bar Association, which has a statutory status, to strengthen the rule of law in the State of Israel.
Mandelblit said, "The Bar Association is also the professional home of the attorneys of the public legal service, and cooperation with it will continue to bear fruit for the benefit of the entire legal system and the Israeli public."
