The Central District Attorney's Office informed the special parole board that discusses prisoners with life sentences that it agreed to the early release of Dalal Daoud. "This is in light of the special circumstances of the case and taking all considerations as required for the early release of a woman prisoner.
"The position of the State Attorney's Office in this case was determined with due regard to the position of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for the Prevention of Domestic Violence of the IPS and the Welfare Ministry, which recommends her early release. The committee, which opposed the prisoner's early release in the previous hearing, changed its mind completely, in light of the treatment and rehabilitation process that the prisoner undergoes in the prison because of which, among other things, the prisoner's danger to society is low."
