The Supreme Court has rejected a request by the Movement for Government and Democracy for an additional hearing on the movement's petition to expose the work of the "committee of two" retired judges who screen candidates seeking advancement from the magistrates courts to the district courts for the chief justices.

After the movement's demand to expose the committee's recommendations and protocols in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act was not accepted, it petitioned a district Court and the Supreme Court, which rejected the requirement for transparency, even though the judges accepted all the arguments of the movement that argued that the Freedom of Information Law applies to this issue. Movement Director Yehuda Amrani said that "the legislature must now regulate the process of appointing judges and stop the concealment and lack of transparency."
