About 30,000 students in 1,130 10th grade classes are being tested today on the theory portion of the driver's license examination.
An examinee who receives a grade above 80 is exempted from a theory test for three years. In order to improve the driving culture in Israel, the studies have included: driving fatigue, dealing with social pressure, distraction and the dangers of alcohol and cellular use. This year the exam is taking place online to make it more accessible to students. All 10th grade students are expected to be tested next year.
