A 62-year-old man was electrocuted to death on Tuesday at his home on Rakefet Street in Rishon Letzion.
Neighbors told a United Hatzala team that the man had entered a sewage cistern to fix a malfunction in the pump. The Hatzala team took him out of the pit with the help of the neighbors and other paramedics and engaged in resuscitation efforts but were forced to pronounce his death.
